How big too big? - 01-17-2007, 04:18 PM

How big is too big? When is the time to slow down? I'd like to hear some opinions.

My pref and goal is "Ivan Drago" big... basically, just the stereotypical "body builder"/beach body.

As big as you can get without affecting health. Real big guys raise their heart rates more than a regular fit guy, almost the same effect as being fat. My personnal opinion is based strictly on health aspects - your joints(to some degree), discs, cartlidge, etc do not know the difference between fat and muscle; just strain.

I agree. I prefer my body to look slim and thick like an underwear model verses a full blown bodybuilder. Everyone is different

Yeah, interesting opinions. I think no matter how big you get, the imp. think is that when you set up a goal and you start achieving it, just look in the mirror and enjoy what you see. Do not get an obsession which will ruin in fact the love for this sport.
