Apidra / insulin - 07-20-2014, 09:35 AM

Friend was taken off humalog and put on Apida, anyone use it before ?

Apidra® is the only mealtime insulin approved for you to take within 15 minutes before or within 20 minutes after starting a meal. That means you can spend less time worrying about when you'll dose, and more time enjoying your meal.

You their new rep, IB? Lol.

Seriously, just picked up a new vial of novolin-R. Hadn't heard about Apidra. Is it still insulin, or a designer substitute, or? Prescription needed?

I definitely want to spend more time more time enjoying my meal...

Yeah, nice timing on Apidra. Nice to be able to work out in the evening and not stay up half the night "just in case."
