Week 9: Feel like shit, BP through the roof...cut back? - 11-20-2014, 07:58 PM

Well, this is week 9 of my third cycle. I bumped it up to 750 test cyp and 600 eq per week.

After feeling GREAT and seeing great gains, I have felt like crap since Sunday - flu-like symptoms, tired (more like exhausted), foggy head - couldnt hit the gym Monday-Tues-Wed. Went in today (feel a TINY bit better), and did a very light workout - good, but light.

All my blood panel readings are GREAT, but my Blood Pressure has regualarly been about 160/100 for the last two weeks - and that's *with* my 50 mg Losartan BP Meds.

I am thinking that I am going to have to scale back on the doses, and stop trying to be a Hero on this one cycle....Agreed?

Agreed somewhat if the following doesn't help then definitely scale back things a little. I've taken lorartan before and it doesn't come close to lowering my bp like metoprolol. Don't ask me why either? And have you been trying to take garlic and other natural things to try and lower your bp? Also on eq I try and eat half a grapefruit every morning and give blood regularly. Just a few tips that might help you

I just started hawthorne and celery seed extract, and I take 2000 mgs L-Arginine/day, all of which *should* lower my BP.

As for the other suggestions, I'm kind of checkmated: I'm HIV+ so I cant give blood (although my doctor literally told me to lie through my teeth and do it anyway since its all tested - I just feel weird about that - he insists drug addicts do it all the time and its expected...) AND it means I cant eat grapefruit, because it interacts with HIV drugs (and my HIV is 100% under control - no detectable viral load for 6 years running - and I dont want to fuck that up.)

Well shit bro sorry to hear about that, but it sounds like you've got that under control which is a good thing. I'm sire a few other people might have some more to add.

You're already taking a few things to help lower it but here's a few more. Sorry wish I could be more help brother. I myself get horrible migraines when my bp gets to high. So those were just a few things I've done to help

Hihg BP/HEMOCRIT/RBC can make you feel poor. I would back the EQ down to 400mg wk OR cut it period.

Id drop the eq and see if that helps. Unfortunately it would take a while, eq takes some time to leave your system. I had the same exact bp reading from eq. A month after i dropped it my bp was much much better...with bp meds also

My bp went up about like yours did when I was running eq last year. I take 40mg of lisinopril too. I wouldn't be too concerned about the bp, as the cycle is gonna be over soon and it will go back to normal. Elevated blood pressure for long period of time (years), is what causes strokes and heart attacks.

Are you using any significant amount of creatine? For me, I can't use creatine and EQ together...It sends my BP up!

Are you using an AI? You might want to try around 10mg of Cialis / Tadalafil for BP.

Ironically....after whining to you all here...I had the best workout of my life today. Feel like a million bucks. Wondering if I just had a bad reaction to my flu shot last friday night. BACK TO THROWING IRON AROUND......GRRRRRRRRR!

(PS, Cialis is a very good friend....dropped the creatine, too)

Try 300mg of ubiquinol CoQ10 daily. Should help bring your BP down within a few weeks.

Dude.
Drop the Eq. Drop test to 250 temporarily for next 1-2 weeks until BP is under control.
Are you seriously debating staying on it right now at a 160BP?

In the future, I suggest primo/npp and LOW test cycles if you are unable to control BP well

No detectable viral load for 6 years....how interesting/awesome!

If your rbc's are low it would make me think that your high bp is from fluid/plasma in the blood from high sodium intake or high conversion of test into estrogen??

How is your diet? taking a AI?
Any nurse friends who can just bring a iv kit home and bleed out like a liter or two? Lol

very low sodium intake...i dont add extra salt to anything, and i dont eat processed foods. Could be test>estrogen; not on any AI. Have been waiting on my hcg for almost 3 weeks now though....grrrrrr.....

yeah if you're not on any AI, it's probably making your BP increase by at least 20-30 points.

get some aromasin immediately and take about 50mg on the first day, then proceed with normal administration.

in the meantime, you really need to cease use of all your anabolics including the testosterone tbh. dont even take 250test for now until the BP is under control and you got your AI
