I like a basic addidas hightop . Flat sole and good ankle support . Anything new I should try ?

I like those really lightweight offroad running shoes. The one i have are like vented wrestling shoes, but without ankle support.
However, since my ankle injury, a shoe with proper ankle support is def in order. The Doc told me i would need them from now on just for everyday use.

Black hightop reebok classics . been wearing those over 20 yrs. Still do.
Flat soles like wresstling shoes and very comfortable. T

I have terrible shin splints and have been wearing Saucony running shoes for years for the arch support.

I'm due for a new pair. I might want to try some high top chuck's to see how they feel.
