Canada's baby seal hunt has begun - 03-31-2005, 11:32 PM

Bros,

I'm not an activist, nor an anti-hunter nut. I do however find it an atrocity that these pussies are killing baby seals in Canada for no reason other than profit from their pelts. They do not kill them in a humane way, and many of these baby seals are only 12 days old. I have seen the way these beautiful animals are killed with clubs, spears with spikes on them, and guns. Many are gutted while still alive. Below is some links where you can help. God only makes us strong for a little while so we can help each other. Peace.

Thank you so much for helping us stop Canada's massive seal
hunt.

With the generous support of people like you, we can put an
end to this awful hunt and move forward with our mission to
create a humane society, a world in which both animals and
humans live free of suffering. We're grateful that you've
decided to support us in our efforts.

Sincerely,

Wayne Pacelle
President & CEO

Tee...I agree fully. The only reason to kill any animal is for sustanence. I have many friends who are hunters (it's just part of being a midwesterner) but none of them hunt purely for sport (and not for profit at all.) They eat everything they kill, and respect the animals. These asswholes aren't hunting at all. A baby seal's only defense is the white pelt that is supposed to act as some camo against ice or snow. Thy are slow, and easy to kill. Humans are naturally omnivorus, this event shows the darker side of our so called superior intellect.

Not that I advocate Seal hunting at all...But a few years ago I actually
spent time on a tiny island off the coast of Newfoundland working on a
film about our seas being over fished due to modern fishing technology (mainly cod)
I was having a beer in a bar and this drunk Sealer thought I was from Greenpeace..
he wanted to fight..I had to be escorted by a bunch of other drunk fisherman back to my hotel room... Point being is these folks are REALLY down and out and do not have many options left..They spend months out at sea catching shrimp, crabs, etc.
as our seas are being depleted.. I met other (sober) sealers while I was there and found that it is not a sport at all... and they do use other parts of the seal..most restaurants there have "Flipper Pie" on the menu (guess the ingredients)...Sealing is seasonal and for a short period of time...so they make the best of it and go back to thier shacks.
I love animals and rescue stray Pitbulls I have placed over 30 in new loving homes over the years.. Sealing has always disgusted me...but spending time with the people who actually do it, changed my outlook, I was able to put a human face and feelings..and find a need and reasoning behind it. and to be honest,i find it more admiral than sitting in a tree with a six pack.

Interesting Deadlift. I know they are out of luck people, but at least they have had time to do what they wanted with their life. They became bums by the roads they chose. In all honesty, I would prefer they kill themselves instead of beating a helpless animal to death. If they are too stupid to get a job or do anything else for a living, then I really have no use for them.

Fogo Island, Newfoundland - 04-01-2005, 09:19 AM

on this paticular island (Fogo Island) fishing is all they do
and have done for generations...those with a little hair on thier balls move
to Toronto or some other big city to "find work"...but is not fishing which is in
thier blood...Also, as you see in the pic there is not much else to do there but fish...
And I agree with you Tee...But to the uneducated an A is just three sticks.

Canada sucks more and more everyday. They won't help us fight terrorism. They won't let us put missile protection systems on thier property. And they kill baby seals. I am glad that the U.S. anti-canadian beef law is in effect. I have heard that it is really screwing up parts of thier economy.

If those dumb fuckers would just help us wipe-out terrorism, I am sure the U.S. would gladly subsidize them so they don't have to kill seals.

The seals live on unpopulated iced-over areas, so there is no threat to humans. I am of the mind that if it hasn't harmed you, don't kill it unless you are going to eat it. I don't believe for a minute that they eat many of the seals. I know for a fact that they skin the seals where they lay, and leave the carcass. I have seen a video where seals were still moving even after they were skinned. Fucking sick. I wish a U.S. Navy cruiser would pass by those iced-over islands and shove explosive shells up those seal hunter's asses.

I don't care that these guys are down on thier luck. The fucking Canadian government should have welfare for these dumb fucks.

What kind of man are you if you kill a baby seal? You are not one....PUSSY!

The bottom line gentlemen, is that WE (humans) have put ourselves in this boat. If a bunch of idiots decide to live on Fogo, that is their problem. Human beings have lost all symbiotic relation to nature. We take, but give nothing back. We progress in the areas of medicen and science, only so more can be born or survive longer. I have seen fishermen actually climb trees and destroy eggs of certian birds of prey because they eat to many of the perch! Who the hell do we think we are?! I don't want to turn this into a Canada bashing thread, because, trust me, the USA does far worse things to the planet and nature than Canada (we have 10 times the population.) Heed my words Bro's....Human kind has been and will continue to be the most destructive species this planet has ever known.

In the US we do some pretty destructive things...Like nuclear testing. But without our nuclear testing to make the best nuclear bombs, Canadians would invade and start clubbing our bunnies and baby does.

Canadians are allright for the most part. They seem to share an underlying hatred for the U.S. though. I think it is thier French inbreeding that has led to that.

Don't get me started on the French. (wee-wee)

I think I am done now.

Just an FYI to all the sheeple...We already know nuclear bombs work! There is no need to "test" them further. And the French are one of the only Nato countries that still "test" nuclear bombs. Mostly in the ocean. Don't get me wrong....I LOVE AMERICA!!! And am proud to be American. That dosen't mean I agree with everything we do or say..
