The elbow Is completely black and blue-black and blue spot on top of tricep and the shoulder and elbow kill - I can still use it, I can bring my arm over my head but need to use the other hand to catch my arm when it is coming down - almost feels like bone spers on a nerve

Damn man, have you been taking ibuprofen? For my issues, I take 800mg 3xday (not on an empty stomach though).

Chris, watch those kidneys brother. Squaster, if you have insurance, go to an upper limb sports ortho and have an MRI done. Sounds like a muscle or partial tendon tear. I tore my distal bicep tendon 2 years ago and taking care of it right away was the best thing I could of done. Get it diognosed and maybe a healing peptide could help in your rehab protocol.

I let the shoulder heal since. I went to the gym today and did some arms. The only thing I couldn't do is strait bar curls. I have not tried any thing else yet. The shoulder feels pretty normal. The elbow is the thing that hurts, but nothing I can't work around. I don't have a primary care doctor so I would have to go to the local Hospital and wait in the emergency room for ever.

Chris, I hope the 800mg Ibuprofen isn't daily! That will wind up being trouble at some point!

Squatster, Like Magnus suggested get it looked at and look into a healing peptide...BPC 157 holds a lot of promise in this area.

I just take Ibuprofin when I have an injury or something. It is a great anti inflammatory for injured soft tissue.

I totally agree about it being a great anti-inflammatory...Just wanted to make sure you weren't taking that much daily for an extended period.

Sounds like a muscle tear in your tricep possibly but maybe not. ., Not a detached tendon as you would not be benching anything. My tricep was torn out of lower insertion completely and there is no way to even straighten your arm with no load .
Injury you describe sounds odd though. Picking some sheet rock would have small amount of tricep involvement. Are you sure you were not torn up in the shoulder muscles underlying your deltoids? Sounds like a cuff muscle (s) letting go. Blood will accumulate well below injury points many times . Just a thought. Really watch for instability in that shoulder. Be best to check with a mri but I understand your insurance dilema..

OH yeah 1 more thing. Not to be a dick but why the fuck would you (know that you are injurred)even think about jumping your bench from 225 -405 for next set?Healthy bench specialists don't even do 200lb jumps. That makes absolutely no sense. Not trying to piss you off but that statement does not coincide with the injury you described. Smarten up.... You want to be able to do this as long as possible right? T

Ha ha ha Magnus I need some carrot pills for my eyes not a tan . That is funny as hell . I?'d still slow those jumps down . Much easier on joints.
I use to bike warm up then take 455 for my first warm up then 90 lb jumps to working wt. I really regret that as i know that was not too cool on the hip joints. Hope injury heals well. magnus hit it on the head . I'm a blind old bastard. .

All my pain now is were tricep ties into elbo- the part of the tricep were you have the bumps on the top then it connects to the elbo
