So sad! Would be interested to know if he had a genetic propensity to have heart issues or was this a case of being on gear for years and years.......or both obviously.

I'm guessing this is once again" a fucking wake up call"

I could had sworn I read an article that stated CT Fletcher would not accept a heart transplant as he felt guilty for the use of AAS and accepted his faith and took responsibility/accountability for his past actions. This makes it seem as if he is waiting dor a heart be it a pig or humans. Just curious.

Can't rule out the fact he is 58 years old and walked around over 300 pounds for many years. I read about his diet in his powerlifting days and it was junk all day. I think he stated he used steroids briefly and has been natural ever since which is an obvious lie. Still a fan and can't help but be moved and motivated by him.

It's a shame he is doing so poorly. I hope he pulls through. He obviously isn't but I see many guys who have heart scares and when they get "better" they jump back on high gear which is stupid to me. Incidentally for any guys who have poor heart function supplements such as the ones below have been shown to improve levels:

Ubiquinol
Pantethine
D-Ribose
L-Carnitine (synthetine)
Magnesium
Omega 3's (fish and krill oil)

I read he needs a heart transplant but not about him saying no. Is that true? I hope he gets it and makes a full recovery.

My uncle just had a heart transplant. I read CT is on a waiting list so he must have said yes. He would be a fool to say no if it's the difference of life and death.

This is what I read as well. He is waiting for a heart. Hopefully he gets lucky and doesn't run out of time. I have heard some people have to wait for years.

A wake up call for shure

We read about some many these days. At least CT is having issues at an older age unlike many stories were it's guys in their 20's and 30's. Makes you think just how much damage we do to ourselves. I doubt CT was even a big drug taker and it was more weight and diet for him.

Another sad case. I’m sure some people will try and make the genetic predisposition excuse to justify their own steroid abuse. With all the bodybuilders/powelifters that have had heart and kidney issues, we have to accept the fact that these drugs do damage to the body. I’m no saint myself, I’ve been juicing for 19 years and at age 39, this is my last year on above trt doses. Once I turn 40, only trt for me. Between ages 25-35, I used to go up to 2.5g of total gear. Then I tore my bicep and went off everything cold turkey for 3 years...maybe a blessing in disguise? Now I’ve been back on the gear for 5 weeks at a dose of 250 test e and 200 Tren e. I have 5 months till I’m 40, so I’m going to go up to 450 test, 300 Tren e, and 300 primo soon and run it until my birthday. I’m trying to regain some of my physique that I lost with the 3 year layoff. Once my b-day comes, it’s 150mgs of test and 2iu hgh and that’s it. Game over for me. Hopefully the years of 2g and higher doses and competing in 17 shows hasn’t done some damage that will rear its ugly head in 10-15 years. Time will only tell. Be carful guys, this shit isn’t a joke, the list of deceased bodybuilders and forum members should be taken seriously. Stay safe!

some people rag on him..but he brought alot of entertainment....hate to see him suffer because he seems like hes 100% heart...but in the end he chose that lifestyle...more is not better..stay within your limits, listen to your body. get regular blood work...and monitor your body..you have the tools, use them. some dont have insurance and thats their exscuse...but what does a blood work cost with no insurance?? $500.00? i could be wrong but is spending $500.00 for blood work not worth it? just my 2 cents

ill also add to my comment about getting regular blood work done..ive had health insurance for 10 years now...guess how many times i went to doc in 8 years of the 10 years of having health insurance??? 0!! why? because i was scared...scared to be told i have cancer or something..i bit the bullet and got full blood work done 2 years ago...nervous as hell...guess what?? everything came out perfect...just got another blood work done and everything came out perfect except it said i had high red blood cell count...i also started to take vitamin b12 for energy...vitamin b12 increases rbc...so i quit taking that and gonna get tested again in a month or so....my headaches or gone now...but its the "FEAR" that stops some of us from getting blood work done..stick with oils...ie: test,eq,decca...stay away from orals. if you choose to take orals due it for a brief amount of time 8 weeks and stay off for a while.... and do not do not use TREN! just my 2 cents, take it for what its worth...spreading the knowledge
