I remember growing up in Texas and getting a light dusting of snow. Literally just a little powder floating across the roads. They closed everything for 200 miles. Even Ft. Hood, the Army base, was shut down for 24 hours.

I'm not sure how much we have so far but it's over a foot and still coming. And I still have power so that is most definitely good!

We didn't get shit. :( Maybe a couple inches. Such a bummer. I love it when it snows. Kids would be outside having a blast and for me there's nothing better than driving around watching all the idiots struggle. They act like its the end of the world. Ice I dont like but a good heavy snowstorm. Nothing better IMO.

I got close to 3 feet here, at least my parking lot has that much, snow is blowing hard and drifting high , been in the bobcat for 8 fucking hours !!

I can't wait for the next 7 years to be over so I can retire from the FD and move out to the west coast.

No doubt that I will be retiring to a much more temperate climate myself.

This state sucks balls for many other reasons anyway, so I won miss anything about it.
