Ditto. When you do it yourself, you control everything based on how it feels. If I'm pushing into my quad and feel like I bumped a nerve I can pause and then continue. I used to have a friend do my glutes and once I learned on my own, I was like damn why didn't I do them myself to begin with?? Less pain, more pride.
