Ok those shoes are goofy to me to begin with but I saw a helluva good incident today at my crowded gym.
This kid wearin his new Xmas gym gear Santa brought him and was doing curls with standard Olympic style curl bar standing, no clamps . 25lb on each side last rep he's struggling bar tilts weight slides off and crushes his toes.. Lol.. Now it's funny but it's not and he got ambulanced out and as he was leaving I asked if the shoes help stopped the blow as medics laughed on way out and said doubt it.. Anyone here wear those things and what's the point?

Saw those last year...I thought, "WTF?!!?" But the dude wearing them was a massive beast and swore by them. He loved them for squats, deads, you name it...Hell, he wore them almost as everyday shoes. He was a member on the ug way back in the day...Big ass black man but I forget his name.

Those "shoes" aren't for me but some would prob. love them for leg day. Gyms can't really say you aren't wearing shoes and I know a lot of people don't like to wear shoes for squats so...

Maybe his calling was a gorilla Tyrone and he was getting back to nature due to his massive size ?They got zero support and a person with high arch would hate them . Now maybe jetskiing use they would be great !

Those kinds of shoes are for "barefoot" running school of training. I remember Zola Budd tripping Mary Decker Slaney in the 84 Olympics? and she was a barefoot distance runner way back when.

Lol. Do they make five toed socks too or do you run naked in them. Bet they smell great after 26 miles.. How can someone run barefoot and not step on a pebble., glass or just spit?

Ive seen 5 toed socks, but they arent designed to wear with shoes. They are usually rainbow colored, and girls wear them like slippers around the house or something. I dont like to go without socks. Too easy to get blisters. Makes your feet sweat, and eventually stink.

Ok, i actually have a pair of the Fila Skele-toes and habe to say i like them alot. Get them dirt cheap off slickdeals.com so i thought i would give them
A shot. I do work out at home so no one but my kids see me in these weird things. I also have issue with things between my toes but suprisingly its not an issue. There is a company that makes great socks for these, Injinji. You can get them on amazon. I do like them for squats and certainly deads, but you will never see me leaving the house with them.

they take away the imbalanced comfort of regular sneaker use and force your feet/stance to strengthen up

In todays society people are forced to be as comfortable as possible taking away the natural flow of how our bodies basic functioning pattern

no offense bro, but your post made me think of that fat girls joke ( not that anything is wrong with Rubenesque women) --the one about mopeds and fat girls, both are fun to ride but you wouldn't want to get caught on either one! Haha, no offense, no offense, it just came to mind! :)

You are starting to sound like the guy from Arizona on the reality TV show called "Dual Survivor". One guy is an x Navy Seal, the other guy is a naturalist from Arizona. Lives his whole life in a dirt cave that he built. And he also never wears shoes. Doesnt matter if he is in the snow, walking through the jungle, rock climbing, etc. If he had to wear shoes, im sure they would have 5 toes on them.

As long as I could find socks for them I'd probably give them a shot.

Even with regular shoes, I'd hate to drop a weight on my feet. Surprised they had to bus him out though, would have thought he could have gotten a ride form a friend or something.

Lmao!! :eek::sniper:

Cody the native chased away Dave the military dude off the show for 2013 because of his tree bark frog leg farts in the dead deer skin tent they constructed on last episode and now Joe Teti is joining Cody . Joe is green beret, forest recon specialist , and was member of some top notch secret government program . Hope he doesn't snap on Cody mid season ...
