According to flocombat.com the UFC will be purchased from Zuffa after a $4.2 Billion dollar bid has been offered from Dalian Wanda Group and Tencent Holdings. WME-IMG and the Kraft Group would act as the faces of the new ownership group in North America is what’s estimated.

Dana White will apparently be staying with the company, but the Fertitta brothers will no longer be owners of the UFC. Joe Silva and Sean Shelby will also stay as matchmakers in the UFC. It is uncertain when all of this will take place, but it is likely that everything will be announced at UFC 200.

The Fertitta brothers purchased the UFC back in 2001 for $2 million from Semaphore Entertainment Group. There was a point in time where the UFC was over $40 million in the hole during the Zuffa era, which led to UFC president Dana White searching for potential buyers.

Dana White revealed that he had some people interested in buying the UFC, but when he called CEO Lorenzo Feritta, he was told to hold off.

Looking back at it now, it looks like patience during their dark times with the UFC paid off for the Fertitta brothers.
