Any of you other meat heads read?

I've been sucked back into it since my injury.

Read Dark Matter a few weeks back and just finished Swan Song last week.

Currently about a third of the way through The Stand.

All of these have been very good way far. Might finish the Game of Thrones books after this one since I was 3 books into that before I put it down.

What are some of your favorites? I have to say non fiction doesn't appeal to me much.

Child of God

If you like game of thrones try “The Witcher” series.

Anything by Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club, Survivor, Rant)

Steven King I really loved the first 4? Dark Tower Series. But super long

I read the articles in a Playboy. Does that count?

Lol yeah. I thought it was a bit sappy that he did that but, it played in well enough I guess. Or, well enough that I didn't hate it.

The movie was a big let down....

I really hated that move in the book. Totally took me out of it. And calling himself “the writer”... yuck.

the first 2 are still a couple of my favorite books though.

The movie I knew would be bad. You can’t fit that many books into one movie. Should have just been the first 2 TOPS.

I used to be an avid reader but rarely get the time to read much.

Massive reader.

Going through all 7 books of the Dark Tower right now.

If you're looking for something really good and entertaining, pick up anything from Michael Koryta. Start with "Those who want me dead".

Another game-changer for me is audio books. Great to just have on during the commute, food prep, basically any chore!
