Zinc in PCT

Anyone ever tried zinc as a supplement during PCT? Several journal articles on pubmed (couple in humans, most in animals) that high dose zinc (about 3 mg/kg body weight zinc aspartate, which is way beyond rda) can increase testosterone. No mechanism given, but it also increased LH levels, which leads me to suspect that it is decreasing sensitivity of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis to negative feedback (but this was not specifically addressed). If true, it might be beneficial in PCT, but I certainly would use it as a supplement, and not replacement to more established methods. Unfortunately, the data I have found are rather limited.
