A 22 gauge needle will give you built up scar tissue over time? just curious. What are you think?
 
Bigger needle = more tissue dmg

More tissue damage = longer recovery

Provided you allow for complete recovery then you minimise the chance of scar tissue.

But there is no compound out there that you cannot shoot with 23g if not a 25g.

Why risk it and cause extra unnecessary pain for yourself?
 
unless you're running a crappy test susp you shouldn't need that big a gauge.i've used 21g 1.5" before which are my draw pins but only cause i gave my pins to someone who needed them a.s.a.p for a show and couldn't wait.i try and use a 25g 1" on all my pins except bi's/tri's.then i'll use a 5/8" pin.

I agree.....
 
just run the syringe with the medicine in it under hot water for a minute if you have a hard time getting the medicine through the pin
 
But don't expose the pin to the water, of course as that would make the pin unsterile.
 
I use 25g for everything. as above, goes in easy once I heat it under some hot water

Leave the cap on and put it under hot water to heat it up and it goes in smoother.
