The biggest problem for guys with hormone problems is finding a doctor who knows what he is doing. Most doctors are ignorant and unwilling and many who are willing are dangerous and stupid. Do not think that a specialist like an endocrinologist or a urologist is going to be able to help you. As a rule, these specialists are some of the worst offenders. An enthusiastic GP is your best bet.

Factors:
-do you have insurance for docs and labs?
-do you have prescription drug coverage?
-does a doctor take your insurance?
-does your insurance cover compounded drugs?
-do you have any strong preference for injections vs transdermals?
-what country are you in? Any English speaking ex British colonies other than the USA are a problem

How to get a referral:

Talk to your doc first, if he is not willing or able, he may know who is. If he sends you to a endo or uro, he may simply be getting you out of his face.

-Google Earth: http://earth.google.com/...load-earth.html
--zoom into your region
--enter "compounding pharmacy" in the "fly to" box
--explore links to web sites, look for patient info concerning male hormones and referrals, start phoning and ask to talk to a pharmacist and explain your needs [factors above] and explain what you are looking for, health insurance issues, and preferences for injected vs transdermal and your needs for Anastrozole and hCG
--compounding pharmacies know regional doctors, the pharmacy need not be close to you.

-Local Pharmacies:
-- start phoning
-- local pharmacies will know local doctors
-- see above

-Anti Aging clinics:
--They can be good and bad. Many will do the labs and mail all of the drugs and syringes to you. The prices can be very extreme.

If you are paying out of pocket, injections are cost effective. Compounded T creams can be affordable. T gels are $250 - $300 per month, depends on dose. Do not consider pellets or patches.

And write down your history symptoms. Print two copies, one for you and one for your doc. Doc can mark that up and retain and spend less time taking notes and asking random questions. This puts your concerns up front and provides talking points.

If you have PPO insurance plan you don't need a referral from your primary doctor you can just goto and endo or uro. And anti aging clinics would be my first choice. Just search online for reviews on the practice. That's what I did and I couldn't be happier. 200mgs of test cyp a week split in two doses ,Monday/Thursday

what I've run into the most is most docs are just unwilling, even if you a legitimate low test problem. They never seem to have a problem with women who have estrogen or menopause issues. The word testosterone has scared the medical community because of its bad rep. Its unfortunate but there are docs out there, you just have to look harder. Some of the best docs I've had are just GPs.

The words "testosterone" and "steroid" are taboo to most GPs. And I've got a big bonus with my endo....she's smoking hot!

All a dr will ever tell me is the negatives of testosterone so I go elsewhere because I dislike unopen minded Drs.So Like the bacteriorstatic water. Make and flip off the clinic as u drive by..

Guys ive always had the best luck with female docs when it comes to trt. I actually prefer female
Docs over males anyways. Youd be surprised how helpful they really are, especially when u tell
Them your wife or gf is frustrated at yur lack of sex drive.

Wish I could find one. In this state it is taboo to even mention anything regarding Test:(

There are a couple of online one that'll give you a legit Rx and you can then get reimbursed by your insurance company. Ijust can't remember the one that some friends have used...I'm old and I forget things.

Are these guys legit? Has anyone used them or know of anyone that has? Want to give them a call but there are so many scam sites out there now that don't want to waste my time.

never used them, but I've used other anti-aging clinics before. They can be pricey, especially with the lab tests if they order it for you, so beware of that. They usually get a compounding pharmacy to make the stuff for your script and its usually pretty good but there again it can be pricey.

My question would be, if you ran into legal troubles, would the script they provide you be legit...Or if you were on probation would the script be valid?!

yes its legit. Any legal trouble would fall on the doc and clinic along with compounding pharmacy. Remember a few years ago when a bunch of docs and compounding pharmacies got busted? Signature pharmacy was one of the largest compounding pharms around and also made some great stuff. Thats when the gov decided to implement tougher laws on anti-aging clinics.

Docs and clinics back then were basically robo-signing scripts. They had so many customers they couldn't keep up, so Docs were just signing scripts without following up on the patient.
