How to calculate your BMI

I was bored and it seems as though no new posts are being put up so I thought this might come in handy if anyone was considering a cutting cycle or just for curiosity's sake.


Body Mass Index(BMI)

BMI = (weight in kg)
(ht in meters)^2

BMI = (weight in pounds) x 703
(height in inches)^2

Obesity = a BMI over 30 kg/m^2

Conversion Factors: 1 kg = 2.2 lbs.
1 inch = 2.54 cm.

Note that this doesn't take into account the muscle vs. fat ratio that some of the bigger guys have. This could make you obese without actually being obese, but it's for us more "normal" guys.
