Details emerge on drug trafficking sting of Chris Bosh-owned home

Some rather stunning news emerged Friday that a home owned by former NBA star Chris Bosh had been the target of a drug trafficking sting.

The home, located in DeSoto, Texas, is allegedly the residence of Bosh’s mother, Freida Bosh, who has been named as a suspect in the drug trafficking sting. As of Friday’s report, we knew that officials had discovered, “a large amount of drug paraphernalia was recovered consistent with narcotics trafficking.”

Now, per TMZ Sports, we have a clearer picture of what police found during the raid. An undercover officer was dispatched to search through trash bags and discovered “tons of evidence — including baggies with cocaine residue, weed paraphernalia, burned joints and mail with Freida’s name on it.”

Per the report, police are saying the house has security cameras everywhere and has a large iron fence surrounding it, which is, “a common tactic for drug traffickers.”

Additionally, one of the suspects being looked at in this case reportedly has an arrest on his record for, “allegedly shooting a guy in the face during a drug deal.”

At this time, police still do not believe Bosh has anything to do with any of this other than being the owner of the home. No arrests have been made at this time, but TMZ reports that could soon change.
