Lower Your Blood Pressure With...

Obviously one of the biggest issues bodybuilder's face is high blood pressure. And before anyone goes out and starts eating Lisinopril like candy, there are some natural remedies that do a great job at correcting poor blood pressure markers...those being aloe vera juice and Apple Cider Vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar is full of calcium, magnesium, and potassium (generally 2 TBSP per day has enough of these balanced nutrients to regulate blood pressure levels BACK to healthy levels.)

Aloe vera can help by dilating the capillaries and improving the circulation in your veins along with being extremely high in Vitamin C.

I simply mix the 2 like many other do and drink it with some greens and my other health supplements first thing upon waking in warm water (as the warmth helps with vasodilation of the gut and thereby allows you to uptake more nutrients in your GI Tract.)

...stay healthy everyone!

Well there are a number of things I've tested to lower blood pressure. Most work best in conjunction with others.

But off the top of my head:
Garlic
Hawthorne Berry
Citrulline
Beet Root
Carditone (Which I use)

Aloe is great for a number of things. You just have to be careful with which type you get as it can have a very strong laxative effect.

Slow release melatonin has shown to lower BP some, along with quercetin

I'm glad it worked for you! I've been on it for a couple of years with no signs of it losing its effectiveness.

"natural remedies". Because for some reason chemicals in plants are always better than man-made chemicals???? Not to say that there aren't alternatives/complements to blood pressure drugs. But then stick to things for which there is actual evidence, like garlic. ARBs and cardio-selective beta blockers are cheap, effective, safe, and basically side-effect free. Enough with this hippie glorification of 'natural alternatives'.

Good list. I would also add ubiquinol to the list.

Raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar; per tablespoon : 11mg potassium, 0mg calcium, no magnesium listed. Still good for you, and I use it every day. Works wonders for indigestion. Supposedly great for a lot of other things. Aloe Vera juice is good for you too, I also drink it regularly. Nothing works on a sunburn like going outside, picking a big piece of aloe plant, skinning it and applying to the burn every couple of hours. Forget the store bought aloe vera gel they sell for sunburn, it's worthless. Aloe is just good allround.

Hawthorn didn't do much for my blood pressure. Carditone is great for blood pressure. Sometimes I use extra magnesium before bed as well.

Since i started taking TUDCA regularly a few months ago my blood pressure has lowered 10 points.
TUDCA has got to be the number one all over body repairing substance I've ever came across.
And its not a bunch of supplement hype bullshit.

Carditone is great. It dropped mine by about 20 points in 1 month. I get no side effects from it either.

I agree. Its like with organic vegetables. They didn't use any harsh chemical pesticides. Youre right...they just used harsh natural organic pesticides. Many of which have far more detrimental side effects

Beet Root, very cheap if you cap it yourself.

First time I took was on Lisopril. BP crashed. Quit taking the Lisopril. Never went back. BP has been about 125/75 ever since. (3+ months now)

I have no idea on the dose, but take 2 size "O" caps when not on orals and 3 when on.
