Good high cal/protein shake - 09-17-2005, 08:22 PM

All of the heavy weight gainers I have seen require massive amounts of powder to get the amount of calories and protein they say they provide. I am using the GNC weight gainer and it requires 3 cups of mix for 1200 cals. 3whole frickin cups. Does anyone have an alternative?

It was on sale for $25. It is a 4.41lb tub(70.58oz) Holy shit unless I'm way off , that's 5 servings per container. Man I have to start reading the fine print on this shit.

Pro n large is all sugar and made me sick feeling. I use optimums serious mass chocolate flavor.
Its 2 scoops per serving and over 1200 cals. I use 1/2 a SCOOP and add a scoop of whey, 2 tbs natural peanut better and 8 oz milk. It comes out to like
700 calories. I do one before and one after my workout. It tastes pretty good.

Not only is it cheap but each serving has only 20 sugar carbs out of 251 total.
it has 1250 calories per 2 scoops
45 from fat
251 carb
20 sugar
50 protein
tons of vitamins and creatine, glutamine

Probably the best Ive tasted
the only down side is you have to shake it up right after you make it otherwise it gets chunky. Let me know what u think
