any bimmer freaks out there???
I had a 540i sport and picked up a non vanos intake (adds 15-20hp) for 2000's and above..heres the deal they scaled down the intake on the Vanos engines (post 2000) so less flow=less torque and power..this is the same intake that Dinan sells for $1500.00 (they buy it fronm BMW , sand off the PN and outtheir stamp on it) no sw mods needed..but if you dont have any sw mods done, then you should do em... Anyway I never installed this in my 2000 540i and its sitting on my shelf..I have other projects cars Im working on and want to sell this part..iits a direct bolt on..anyone with basic auto r/r skills can do it..
$500 bucks takes it..I'll pay shipping in U.S. This will also increase your redline so I suggest (highly) aftermarket tuning to raise the rev cut out...
