Biceps Tendon Tear -- Deadlift - YouTube

I came across this video while looking up deadlift tips, pros deadlifting, etc. I had to cut deadlifts out of my routine 3 months ago because of an extremely sore lower back. Went to chiropractor for a few sessions and was advised to take it easy on deadlifts for a while. I been feeling it out over the last 3 months and i have decided im good to get back to deadlifts. Back to the video tho... How the fuck did this guy pull off a bicep tear durring a deadlift?

Injury's are really terrible. Part of the reason at my age i seldom lift as heavy as when i was younger. I focus on form and fatiguing the muscle with more reps

I've seen that here and there over the years. There is a fairly famous picture of a 220er 0r 42er . Having a bicep let go during a DL at nats or worlds.
Shows him at lockout with this huge gap between elbow and bicep.
He is looking over at the lights for whites. That is some focus.
If I find it I'll post it up. T
