Well what can I say, I just lucked out! After telling the new dock about the bruises, he asked if their was anything else that I felt could be a factor. I started to give him a hypathetical situation of a new patient coming to him and stating they use aas, what would his reaction be? He kind of smiled and said, actually that was going to be my next question for you. I then found out he not only is a family doctor, but also a sports specialist that works at another sports practice as well as some of the local universities. Anyway, he said he will definitly work with me and take care of any problems I en-counter with full discresion. He did say he won't condone my use and asked me questions like why I use and how long do I plan to use, but I fully expected that. As for his thoughts, he took blood and ran 2 EKG's. EKG's came back great. Blood results back next week. Right now he is concerned about my liver values, which he said would cause blood clotting problems. He basically ran through everything you had stated Stealthmeister. He did rule out the endocarditis for me and again said basically everything you said about the other symptoms I would be experiencing with that. We were both very pleased with the EKG results. I guess I got pretty lucky finding a doc on the board and a doc at home! I'll let you know when the blood results come back. In the mean time, no orals for me and I have to stay away from asprin. Thanks again for all your help Stealth! ;)

No problem. I'm very glad to hear that things worked out so well!!! Re: the liver.....of any body tissue or organ, the liver has a remarkable ability to recover / regenerate. The most common problem is intrahepatic cholestasis (the bile gets plugged up within the liver), but usually resolves pretty quickly when off the 17- orals. I imagine you'll be sorted out in no time, but sounds like ya need a bit of a break from the gear and aspirin, etc.

Fantastic doctor

Steel, this thread is so helpful and it is amazing how you lucked out and found that sympathetic doctor. I didn't know what Stealth knew about bruises even though I read about health issues fairly regularly. Please keep this thread updated so we know the final diagnosis and treatment. So, is it looking like the bruises are related to liver trouble? Interesting.

Both bruise are gone. Two lumps still remain, but are smaller. No word on the blood results yet due to the Holiday. I did buy anothe bottle of LIV52 for the liver and I've cut way down on asprin intake. The good thing is no new bruises!

Great to hear that the bruises are settling. Post up some bloodwork when you get it. I'd be interested in seeing liver enzymes (AST/ ALT / ALP), liver function things...bilirubin, albumin, PT /INR and coagulation times (PTT, PT / INR), platelet count, and cholesterol.

Stealth.

Well my Doc left me a message today which stated that my liver values are elevated and not in the normal range, which right now he is connecting to the bruising. He wants me continue with milk thistle or LIV52 and have more blood drawn in 4 weeks. He is sending me all the results which a few other things are slightly out of range but he is not concerned. I guess I went a bit over board on the D-bol. Live and learn.
