Outside Newark post office, steroids found ready for delivery, police say
After finding Christopher Lane passed out in front of the Newark post office, responding officers searched his vehicle and found steroids packaged for delivery, police said.
That was on Thursday, according to the Newark Police Department, when officers were called to Ogletown Road to check on Lane. Police and paramedics evaluated the 37-year-old after they arrived and searched his car because of how he behaved, they said.
Police said they found numerous liquids and pills that would commonly be called steroids. Some were packaged for delivery through the mail, police said.
Police said they located these anabolic-androgenic steriods:
9 grams of nandralone
28.5 grams of Masteron
110 grams of testosterone
24 grams of boldenone
120 doses of oxandrolone
60 doses of methasterone
300 doses of stanozolol
four grams of trenbolone
25 doses of Dianabol
They said they also found 10 vials of human growth hormones, also known as also known as somatotropin, and needles.
Lane was charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in varying quantities, delivery of a prescription drug for another to consume or possess without prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
