Should I switch pins after withdrawling?

What guys are you doing, is it wise change them after withdrawling from a vial?

Absolutely! The end of the pin will be blunted after you pierce the top of the stopper. They are cheap so switch it. Use a 18-19 gauge to draw and 23 or 25 gauge to shoot. Easy as and will not leave a big hole in you.;)

I always do. Especially since I draw using a 20g and poke with a 23g.

Always change your needle after withdrawing from a vial.

Agreed with everyone. You don't have to, but if you dont:
1- it's going to hurt more
2- your stuck using a lower gauge needle, I use a 25g most times and withdraw with a 20 or 22, it'd be a pain in the ass to withdraw with anything higher than 22, and a pain in the ass (literally) to shoot with anything lower than a 22 - especially if it was dulled by a rubber stopper.

You can see on the microscope how dull the needle is after this. You should of course.

Hell
I use a 21G always wipe the top rubber stopper with alcohol use the same pin no big deal. Thats what the doc does.
