hi guys , I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and now I have to cut sodium in my diet, but seems everything except the fruit contains this stuff. can anyone tell me some food without sodium. also , should I be looking to eliminate it or just cut down to 1G or so per day?

It's all about balance between sodium and potassium. So eat up veggies and use losalt if you must use salt in cooking

Foods in their natural state or as close too are not loaded with sodium
Also don't add the stuff when cooking - and low salt as robinme says.

Lo-salt contains twice as much potassium as sodium and veggies are much higher in potassium than sodium. Too much potassium and you'll be peeing all the time!
