That's a cute and inexpensive study. What we really need are human long term studies of long term steroid use. The anecdotal evidence suggests so many health benefits and few serious problems.

Why the hell are they using hamsters for this?! If AAS were legal, you could study this question in a controlled, scientific, valid way, with the appropriate numbers of adult humans to demonstrate or refute the belief that AAS are addictive.

My understanding is that the same group of scientists are beginning a new experiment. They are going to inject 4 ounces of pure chocolate into a hamsters brain to prove that chocolate does indeed cause brain damage.
