Currently 165lbs 5'9 and around 16-17% bodyfat. I'm thinking of starting a cut soon but i have absolutely no idea what the diet is suppose to be like. Not looking to lose a shitload withtin a short time, main priority of the cut is to be able to keep my muscle mass while slowly losing out the extra fats. Looking to cut down to around 6% bodyfat in around 12-16weeks or so.

mod-high protein, mod-high fats and low carbs. as for macros, without knowing your stats maybe 250p, 120-150f and 100-120c a day...just a thought. ultimately your gonna have to play around with the macros some as everyone is different. oh and tren doesnt hurt either :)

16% of 165 = 26.4lbs fat

6% of 155 = 9.3 lbs of fat

That's 17 lbs of fat loss and 7lbs of muscle gain in 12-16 weeks.

Or 6% of 145 = 8.7 lbs of fat

That's just under 18 lbs fat loss and about 2lbs muscle loss.

That sounds like harder work than I would want to do in 12-16 weeks!

I workout 4-5 times a week with HIT and around 20mins of light cardio(walking) everyday. Nope not looking to use aas as of yet, supplements just the normal protein, preworkout and multi vitamins, wouldn't mind getting a fat burner during the cut. No work currently, i am currently a student.

There are different approaches, but what I had good success with was hi (lean) protein mostly chicken and fish, moderate complex carbs (4 oz brown rice, etc) and lo fat (olive, coconut oil). I also did 45 minutes of lower intensity fasted cardio first thing in the AM with caffeine. Sometimes I would do interval cardio when I felt the fat loss stalled.

Like I say, keto works great too. I just found to function after a couple weeks, I needed some carbs or my brain went dead lol But I have a good friend that is using it to great success.
