back mass growth? Deadlift or stiff legged deadlift?

I would go with deadlifts, weighted pullups and rows and you have yourself a great back routine...But, always remember to switch it up.....

I would just do regular deadlifts where you’re bending your knees. It will allow you to go heavier and imo deadlifts are the best exercise for thickness in the back:)

Underhand-grip barbell rows executed with torso at about a 45-degree angle:)

The back is exponentially stronger than the arms. Double underhanding the bar makes your biceps the limiting factor and strains the biceps tendon excessively.

Deadlift, row, zercher lift/squat, front squat for back strength. Good mornings to activate smaller back muscles without primary movers taking over.

Matt Kroc swears by max rep heavy dumbbell row finishers for back size.
