O/T is it possible to get a virus on your phone?

if you can,how do you get rid of it?
Do I bring it into the carrier ?like AT&T or Verizon or do I get done type of software on the phone?

Absolutely! 3rd party apps, emails, iffy websites can all infect your phone. Protect it with apps like Kapersky, Trend Micro, or AVG. Run them and scan for viruses.
