i was wondering what the best way to heat up gear is? especially one in coconut oil that gels up? not familiar with anything but the normal oils. thanks in advance

I like to use a small pot of water. I put about 1" in the bottom heat it till its close to boiling then let it cool for a minute and put the vial in. Works pretty well.

I don't even get it that hot. I run my tap water till it's at it's hottest. Then I put a little bit in a tuperware container, drop the vials in and let them sit for a while.
I just pulled gear in Coconut oil through a 30 gauge slin pin.

Now would hotter water work better? Sure

Just saying that you don't need to get to crazy with it.

thanks guys. im wondering because taipan has a sale on there coconut oils, they say they gel. do you have any experience with them from taipan? results or problems?

I have used the coconut oils from both Taipan and LFA. No problems with either and most of the year you would never even know that they are any different from any other products. When winter comes around though it turns to a glob in the vial. Like the guys above said, just heat it up and you're good to go! Taipan have and always will be my go to guys, they treat you right!

thanks man. i have had nothing but wonderful experiences with all the sponsors i have used here . gonna give it a try. i really love this place. this is the first time i did a cycle that i actually have good ppl to get advice from. and from what i see by looking at other forums, the ppl here are far superior in knowledge, maturity, and friendliness. and how can you beat great sponsors. i dont want to sound like im kissing ass, but im really happy i found this forum. thx guys

Truthfully who here wants to actually spend time to heat up oils that shouldn't gel up in the first place. Nothing against taipan never tried there's but the other was a horrible experience and I would never use that gear again not even if it was free. Taipan has always treated me good before the name change haven't used them since. Solid sponsor and loved there gear.

If it's in coconut oil it will probably clear back up just being at room temp. I have sat mine right on the stove top on medium heat until I see the crystals dissolve
