This time I actually ordered Liquid Sun Rayz and hand-applied it. They recommend to do it with a sprayer, but Jamie and I have gotten very good at applying competition tans by hand. We used a foam applicator pad for automotive wax to apply the first coat, then over the course of a day or so we applied two more coats, blending them with a small roller that they provide. I had read some horror stories about blotchiness and streaking with Liquid Sun Rayz, but it all comes down to proper exfoliating/skin preparation in the few days prior.

I like the product a lot. I have always used Pro-Tan in the past, but it takes me 6-7 coats to get as dark as I got from 2-3 coats of Liquid Sun Rayz.
