Orals and your age

What do you guys think? For young 'ens only? Too hard on the liver or just a bunch of b/s unless you're being extremely abusive with super high mg's?

I tend to think in moderate dosages that you can run long term and age shouldn't have an effect. I mean to be honest, older folks take tons of oral medications to survive and end up dying of old age, not liver or kidney issues.

Im still loving orals. 20mg Halo and now up to 50mg from 30 on Dbol and feel great. I dont think I would run dbol long term, but thinking about halo and backing down the dosage. As long as Im getting good numbers back on my bloodwork I'll stay there. I dont think age has anything to do with it, unless you have a pre existing condition.

I tend to agree, Rory, though I've heard some other pov's concerning age (goes with taking Tren as well as orals for some reason).

I've ran 50mg of Dbol for over a year and had slightly elevated values. Nothing that alarmed my physician to the point of putting me on meds though, just told me to be conscious of it. I took a break for a few months and everything was back to normal.

Theres a few guys in great shape where I workout. In 50s and 60s and they are fine or so they say on orals and actually prefer them. I think I'll continue doing what I do until blood work shows issues. I dont consider myself old yet but Ive been off an on (mostly on) for the past 19 years.... well shit... now I feel old putting it down like that lol. Theres been times when bp has had issues and Ive had elevated values but the same thing as you, I backed off and went back to normal.

I still like to use orals such as anavar in particular and dbol as well. I would love to use winstrol but I've already got enough joint discomfort.

I still use orals on occasion and like that option. I think the same rules apply no matter what your age. I don't get crazy on dosages and length of time used.

I don't use orals much anymore. Not sure why but stick mainly to oils now.

I will agree with the above though in saying I do not think age plays a factor. If you are using a proper liver protectant and make sure that you are getting your tests done every 4 weeks you should not run into any major issues. At least none that you would not catch very quickly.

I think Anavar or Tbol would be ideal for the long term at mild/moderate dosages. I just get the feeling that Anavar and Tbol these days are just different colored repackaged Dbol.

I like the opinions on this thread. I know some drugs are more liver and kidney toxic than others, but still, when you look at some people with health issues, or the elderly, they are taking hundreds of mg's of oral medications every day for decades. Makes ya wonder. Even HIV patients taking Anadrol or Anavar at really high dosages.

Am I rationalizing a bit? :D

I love orals, but have not used any in quite some time. I can run most all orals, except that I don't respond well to dbol any longer, as it just distends by gut too much; and Anadrol is hit or miss on gyno issues.

I'll probably just run Anavar, winny (at 4-6wk runs), and Tbol from here on out.

So are you saying you stay on orals continuously unless bloods come back bad? Halo? Don't give me ideas like this :D

Lol I'm pretty happy with my current "cycle" an think I'll ride it out. Blast at higher dosages an cruise at lowers. Take something out an replace with something else if needed. As long as I feel healthy, bloodwork is in check, I'm staying with it. I fucking love halo so even at a low dose I'll stick with it as long as I'm seeing improvements.

Man, I haven't used Halo since the late 90's, and it was stenox from Mexico. That was/is great stuff, even though it is dosed low per pill. Been itching to use some the past few months now...lol!

I always think of old as far as that goes, like mid 30's and up. It seems with life in general, that when you see smokers, drinkers, partiers etc., the effects of their hard living start becoming visually noticeable around then and the health problems start too. ~Not~ that I'm comparing AAS to the others, but I think our system's just start becoming more vulnerable around then.

I think the older we get we need to change our thinking from abuse to use.. Lower mgs per day or week. Unless your still competing..

I think orals are ok but not in the really high dosages we see young guys using on a 2nd cycle . For myself I would keep my dbol under 40 anavar under 40 maybe the same with tbol. My usual concern is having my appetite fall off.
Maybe that is a good thing so what I eat is only good stuff.
Yes they can have a place with my old aarp carcass.. T
